Ida on track to reach our area mid-day

Local officials say that Warren County has been lucky so far to avoid massive impact from Ida, but the storm is still making it’s way across southeastern Mississippi and is expected to reach our area mid-day on Monday.

Wind gusts did cause some damage overnight, with multiple trees down and power outages in a few areas across the county.

Officials encourage everyone to stay sheltered until the storm has passed this afternoon. As of the time of this writing, we are expecting the most impact between noon and 2 p.m. Monday.
