St. Aloysius girl’s soccer team defeated Copiah Academy 7-0 on Tuesday night.

Lili Perniciaro and Grace Windham both had three goals each while Mallory Hobson and Megan Theriot each scored one. Sarah Smith had another shutout performance as she came up with two saves.

Assistant Coach Maurice Gilliam led St. Al tonight due to Head Coach Gio Baldizon being out of the country.

“He asked me to close the deal for him and the deal has now been closed,” Gilliam said.

The Lady Flashes possibly clinched a playoff spot for the first time in three years and they will host East Rankin Academy on Thursday.
