Lady Vikes crushed Ridgeland 12-0 on Thursday

Warren Central High School softball team crushed Ridgeland 12-0 on Thursday night.

Mary Evelyn Hossley started the game with a double while Adalyn Anderson got on base from an error. Sarah Cameron Fancher and Zion Harvey both picked up RBIs along with Madison Pant after a single to put the score at 4-0.

Hossley would get another double in the second while Jenn Smith singled to bring in a run score with a 5-0 lead.

The Lady Vikes picked up seven runs in the third and final inning that started with a double from Lola Crozier. Anderson would soon get a nice hit that brought in two runs as well as Harvey who repeated the same action to put WC up 10-0. Pant and Crozier would get the final two RBIs as the game was soon called.

Hossley and Smith both went 2 for 2 at the plate while Pant went 2 for 3. Anderson and Harvey both had two RBIs with their one hit while Kamryn Morson, Crozier and Makayla Jackson all collected hits.

Pant struck out five in the win and allowed two hits and zero runs.

WC will travel to Wesson on March 20.
