VJHS and PCA Jr. High both grabbed a victory against each other on Thursday

Porter’s Chapel Academy Junior High and Vicksburg Junior High baseball teams got wins off each other on Thursday night.

Game One:

The Gators grabbed a 6-5 win over the Eagles in the first match of the doubleheader.

Peyton Calvin,Kolton Thomas and Ace Orosco all had hits for VJHS while Allan Allen struck out seven batters in the win.

Calvin also had 14 stolen bases.

Gamechanger was unavailable for PCA’s game one stats.

Game two:

The Eagles won 11-8 over the Gators in game two.

Chad Fuson pitched in the win where he struck out six batters and Ryan LaBarre also pitched as well. Carson Hays had a two-run double.

Fuson and Lakelan Pecanty both had three runs each while Clayton McClure had two. Jaden Wright, CJ Koestler and Coltin Hancock each had one run.

VJHS’ roster was unavailable for their game two stats.
