Louisiana authorities in standoff with officer assault suspect

As of 10 a.m. Monday, authorities currently in a standoff with the suspect in an embezzlement case who assaulted Warren County Investigator Stacy Rollison at Bovina Grocery earlier this morning.
The suspect fled westbound on I-20, crossing into Louisiana, where Madison Parish authorities identified the suspect’s vehicle and engaged in a pursuit.
The suspect crashed his vehicle on Highway 65 near Ashley Plantation Road.
Authorities are currently in a standoff with the suspect who has been confirmed to be armed. Multiple agencies are now involved in the efforts to capture the suspect.
