Man stabbed in the neck on Cherry near Clay Street

A stabbing has occurred Cherry near Clay Street on Saturday night.

Dispatch received a called just shortly after 10 p.m., indicating that a white male was stabbed in the neck.The Vicksburg Police Department responded to the scene along with the Vicksburg Fire Department Engine 6.

VPD is currently looking for the suspect and the victim is being transported to the hospital where his condition is unknown.
