Mississippi two-year-old shoots himself in the face

A two-year-old in Tchula, Mississippi shot himself in the face on Wednesday. According to Acting Tchula Police Chief John Newton, the incident happened around 3:30 p.m.

The toddler reportedly found the handgun in a bedroom while family such as his mom, grandmother, brother and cousins were all present at the home at the time of the incident.

No one else was injured. The toddler is in stable condition at UMMC. No one has been charged at this time.
