Missy Gators punished Holmes County Central 74-37 on Tuesday

Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team beat Holmes County Central 74-37 on Tuesday night.

The Missy Gators quickly took over things with a 25-7 lead in the first quarter and by halftime the game was nearly out of reach with VHS ahead 41-15.

The second half consisted of the same thing with VHS continuing to punish Holmes County Central as they took home the win.

Layla Carter led with 19 points and Rodrianna Hall added 16 on the night with three assists. Janiah Caples got six assists to go with her 12 points while Kierra James contributed 10 points and three rebounds and Terri Boyd scored seven. Kalia Bland also added five points.

The Missy Gators will host Lanier on Thursday.
