Missy Gators shutout Ridgeland 8-0 in game two

Vicksburg High School softball team crushed Ridgeland 8-0 in game two of the second round of the playoffs.
The Missy Gators went up 2-0 in the first inning after a hit from Harmony Harris and a sacrifice from Jordan Grace. They would pick up two more runs in the third after a pop fly from Trinity McGloster to go up 4-0.
Harris would hit a home run in the fourth that added another two runs. Harris and Jamia Grace brought in the final RBIs of the night in the 8-0 win.
Amari Johnson, Lili Kistler, and Avery VanNorman all had one hit. Lexi Kistler had two hits and a double while Harris finished with two hits, three RBIs and a home run.
Lili struck out four batters on the night.
The Missy Gators will host game three on Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
