More tornados possible Tuesday

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, hail to the size of golf balls and tornadoes are likely Tuesday into Tuesday evening.
Showers and thunderstorms will develop Monday across much of the area. Otherwise, a much warmer than normal day with high temperatures in the mid-to-upper 80’s. Showers and thunderstorms will continue Monday night in the north with low temperatures in the 70’s.
Tuesday, widespread showers and thunderstorms persist and our risk level elevates to Enhanced. Storms will likely become severe with high temperatures in the low-to-mid 80’s.
