Multiple VHS track & field athletes advance to the state meet

Vicksburg High School track and field team will send multiple athletes to the state meet after placing on Monday at North State.

Missy Gators results:

Rodrianna Hall-1st place in long jump(16-08), 4th place in high jump(4-10) and 2nd place in triple jump(34-05).

Layla Carter-1st place in triple jump(35-11.50) and 1st place in 300 hurdles(47.74).

McKenzie Edmond-4th place in 300 hurdles(53.01).

Terri Boyd-4th place in 400 M(1:03.13).

Amiyah Hall-4th place in 200M(26.34).

Boy’s team:

Malachi Drake-1st place in discus(122 ft and 8 in).

Tyler Henderson- 1st place in triple jump(44-08) and 4th place in long jump(20-07.75).

4X100 M relay team came in third place(43.59).
