Municipal candidates poll results favor incumbents

The Vicksburg Daily News conducted a purely opinion, non-scientific poll of our readers regarding their choice for mayor and alderman positions in the coming election.

Participants in the poll favored incumbent George Flaggs, Jr. in the race for Mayor of Vicksburg, with almost three times as many votes as other candidates.

For North Ward, once again our participants favored the sitting Alderman, Michael Mayfield.

The South Ward results also favored incumbent Alex Monsour by a large margin.
