A teenager in Yazoo County has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his mother on Saturday.

19-year-old Tracey Wardley allegedly killed his mother at her residence in Yazoo City, according to the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office.

After the shooting, Wardley fled to Vicksburg to see his father, who eventually turned him into police.

The motive for the shoot is unknown at this time.
