Ole Miss ends the Golden Eagles season in a 12-9 victory

Ole Miss baseball team got their revenge on Southern Miss on Monday as they eliminated the Golden Eagles after a 12-9 win.

Jack Dougherty got the win for the Rebels as he pitched four innings and racked up four strikeouts.

Tim Elko controlled things at the plate for the Rebels, going 3 for 3 with five RBIs and three run scores. Reed Trimble also had four RBIs in the victory.

Hunter Stanley was on the mound for the Golden Eagles and managed to strikeout two batters. Trimble went 3 for 4 at the plate with four RBIs to help lead USM.

The loss ends the Golden Eagles season with a 40-21 record, while Ole Miss season remains alive.
