PCA crushes Greenville Christian 13-3 on Monday

Porter’s Chapel Academy baseball team knocked off Greenville Christian 13-3 on Monday night.

GC managed get three scores in the first inning then PCA got on the board after a sacrifice by John Wyatt Massey where Gage Palmer ran in for the score.

Big hits by Thomas Azlin, Chase Hearn, Zach Ashley, and Taylor Labarre helped the Eagles take a 7-3 lead by the end of the third inning.

PCA never gave up their lead as they continued to run up the score on Greenville Christian.

Palmer, Ashley, and Laken Bradley all finished with two hits each while Labarre and Azlin both contributed one hit. Labarre and Ashley both had two RBIs.

Ashley pitched for five innings and struck out 10 batters in the win as PCA advance their record to 10-4 under head coach Paul Ashley.

The Eagles will travel to face Benton Academy on Tuesday.
