Porter’s Chapel Academy got their sixth win in a row after defeating Manchester Academy 8-4 on Thursday.

The game remained scoreless until the third inning when the Eagles scored on a walk and a wild pitch. Gage Palmer then singled that led to Thomas Azlin getting the score as they went up 3-0.

The fourth inning would also be profitable for PCA once Zach Ashley doubled that paved the way for a score.

Big hits by Gavin White, Ashley, and Taylor Labarre who doubled would keep the game gong in the Eagles’ favor as they took the win.

Ashley got three hits on the night while Labarre, Chase Hearn, and White each got two hits.

Palmer struck out six batter while on the mound.
