Porter’s Chapel Academy picked up their second win this week in a 14-2 victory over Sharkey-Issaquena Academy on Thursday.

The Eagles got on the board early after a sacrifice from Taylor LaBarre. Zach Ashley would soon get a double then Gavin Pugh and Chase Hearn both brought in RBIs to help PCA go up 3-0.

A couple of steals in the second would put PCA up 6-0.

John Wyatt Massey would quickly strike out three in the third inning while Gavin White and Gage Palmer both secured big hits as the Eagles led 8-0.

PCA collected five runs in the fourth with Brayden King getting a hit and a double from Hayden Beard. The Eagles would get one more run in the fifth to take home the 14-2 road win.

Hearn and King both went 2 for 2 while Ashley 2 for 3 with four runs. Beard, Palmer and Pugh each had one hit.
