PCA smashed Hillcrest 16-2

Porter’s Chapel Academy softball team came away with a 16-2 win on Thursday night against Hillcrest.
The Lady Eagles picked up 10 runs in the first inning after singles by Emily Muirhead, Mia Abdo(double), Marley Bufkin and Kendall Smith.
Audrey Carraway and Sophie Masterson hit a double in the third while Abdo and Smith both got inside-the-park home runs. Ali Blackmon also got a hit.
Smith and Bufkin both had two hits while Smith brought in five RBIs and two hits. Blackmon, Masterson, Carraway and Muirhead all had a hit.
Blackmon struck out three and only allowed one hit.
PCA will host Madison St. Joe on Monday.
