Port Gibson native Jacory Rankin led Mississippi Valley State University in receiving on Saturday against Florida A&M.

Rankin had four catches with 147 yards receiving. He also had two kick returns that went for a total of 33 yards.

Though it was a close, 31-28 loss, the Delta Devils almost pulled off an upset.

Rankin and MVSU will travel to play Jackson State University on Saturday.
