Sanders named as a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award

Jackson State University head football coach Deion Sanders is now a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award which is given to national coach of the year in college football’s Division I subdivision.

JSU now sits with a 10-1 record after defeating Alcorn 24-10 on Saturday and they are currently ranked No. 14 in the FCS Coaches Poll.

Sanders and the Tigers will face Prairie View A&M in the SWAC Championship that will be held on December 4.
