Rain and storm chances will increase particularly later today as a front approaches from the north. Most areas will receive rain, with some areas possibly seeing heavy flooding rain. Highs will mostly be in the mid and upper 80s.

Localized flash flooding is possible this afternoon through tonight, particularly in low lying and urban areas, across southeastern Arkansas, northeastern Louisiana and portions of central-northern Mississippi. Rainfall totals between one to three inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible.
