Former Jackson State University mens basketball manager Thomas “Snacks’ Lee brought home the 2020 ESPY Award for the Can’t-Stop-Watching-Moment.

Lee is known for hitting a big three pointer during a JSU basketball game in March that stunned the crowd.

“It makes me feel good,” Lee told The Clarion Ledger. “Anytime I can bring good publicity to the program, it’s a blessing.”

JSU head coach Wayne Brent put Lee in the during the final minutes, and he hit a shot the Tigers fans will never forget.

“A special shout out to Coach Brent for all of his hard work and giving me the opportunity,” Lee said. “My point guard Jonas James for making sure he got me the ball on every possession that I was in the game.

After the big shot, Lee became an instant celebrity, and he even gave a speech at a Joe Biden Rally in Jackson March 8 where everyone gave ”Snacks” a standing ovation.
