Truck hit power pole in Bovina

Update (5/15/22, 10:20 a.m.): Entergy has completed repairs and Tiffentown Road has been re-opened according to Sheriff Martin Pace.

Shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle struck a utility pole on Tiffentown Road causing traffic issues and a power outage for surrounding residents.

Entergy is on the scene, along with Warren County Sheriff’s deputies and other responders.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly left the scene after the accident, walking back toward Bovina Grocery.  It is not believed that anyone was injured in the crash.

Expect delays on Tiffentown Road as crews work to clear the scene and repair the power line.
