USM quarterback Jack Abraham is reportedly out for the rest of the season.

Abraham suffered from a concussion earlier this season as well as COVID-19. He was the star of the offense under former head coach Jay Hopson who resigned earlier this season.

Abraham led the Golden Eagles to two winning seasons as the starting quarterback.

USM will start Trey Lowe Saturday in the game with Western Kentucky. Lowe is the third string quarterback behind Tate Whately who is battling a concussion.
