VHS ninth grade girls’ basketball team picked up a 28-27 win over WC

Vicksburg High School ninth grade girls’ basketball team picked up a close 28-27 win over Warren Central ninth grade squad.

Khaiya Williams finished with 16 points in the win and Kennedi Williams added four. Kenley Hender scored three points while Raylyn Parson and Nakia Jeffers both had two points. C.Blackmond hit one free throw.

For WC, Kennedi McKay led with 11 points and Shaniya Lewis added nine while M. Croom scored seven.
