VHS smashed Jim Hill 28-3

Vicksburg High School punished Jim Hill 28-3 on Friday night.

Tyler Carter and and Kealon Bass both got triples in the first inning as VHS led 1-0. Mickell Jones and Raymond Grey both hit doubles to help put the Gators up 3-0 after hits from Chis Green and Braylon Green heading into the third. Braylon would also get a double late in the game.

Later in the sixth inning, the Gators would make a statement where they would picked up 20 runs starting with an inside-the-park home run from Carter. Big plays consisted of Braylon getting a triple and Mincer Minor IV getting a double along with multiple walks.

VHS finished with 19 hits as Braylon added five hits and eight RBIs. Chris Green and Minor both had two hits and two RBIs while Carter finished with three RBIs and two hits. Decedric Brown and Grey both had two hits.

Bass, Connor Harrigill and Omarion Richardson all had a hit.

Chris Green struck out five in the win and Brown struck out two.
