Vicksburg defeats Murrah 60-47 Monday

The Vicksburg High School boys basketball team defeated Murrah High School Monday in a 60-47 win.

Taylor Smith paved the way for the Gator victory, putting up 15 points in the game. He also had eight rebounds and one assist.

Keyshawn Brown and Sean Hardy put up 13 points each. They also combined for a total of 17 rebounds by the end of the game.

The Gators are now 7-4. They bounced back well after losing to Forrest Hill High School Saturday.

Vicksburg will be back in action Jan. 5 as they face Callaway High School in an away game.
