Vicksburg High boys soccer defeated Jim Hill 6-5

The Vicksburg High School boys soccer team defeated Jim Hill Thursday night 6-5 in their first district win of the season.

Senior Keveon Smith scored a goal in the huge win for the Gators with the assist coming from Zachary Stokes. Smith also had an assist as he paved the way for Christopher Williams to score a goal.

Alex Burundo and Zachary Stokes also scored goals in the win for VHS.

The score was tied at 5-5 at the end of the first shootout. Then, Williams scored again to help secure the victory, and teammate Shakori Regan stepped up and made a save as VHS won 6-5.
