Vicksburg High ninth grade boys still undefeated after beating Madison Central 62-41

The Vicksburg High School ninth grade boys basketball team held on to its undefeated record Thursday by beating Madison Central 62-41.

Kealon Bass and Tyler Henderson led the team in scoring, each finishing the game with 17 points. Bass hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter to help keep the Gators ahead.

Vicksburg maintained its lead throughout the game, with many of the players stepping up to help secure the win. Davion Williams finished with 9 points, and teammate Jeremiah Cattlin put up 8.

The Gators are now 12-0 under head coach Julius Williams. They will travel to play Brandon Monday.
