WC defeated Murrah 42-37 on Thursday

The Lady Vikes basketball team took on Murrah High School on Thursday and defeated the Lady Mustangs 42-37.

Warren Central took an early lead with the help of Ta’Mya Sims who knocked down two 3-pointers in the first quarter.

Although the game stayed close, the Lady Vikes maintained their lead throughout the night. Zy’Kerri Segrest kept the momentum going and led the Vikes with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

WC now sits at an 8-5 record on the year.
