Warren Central High School football team capped off their season on Friday in Brandon in a 42-17 loss.

WC found themselves trailing 21-0 late in the first but eventually got on the board when Brandon Gilliam knocked down a 41 yard field goal and Ashton Murphy retuned a blocked punt for a score to make it 21-10.

TJ Thompson would score the final touchdown for WC late in the game but the Bulldogs had a heavy lead by then.

The Vikings had a great ride this season by winning four games in a row to clinch a playoff spot and making it to the second round after defeating D’lberville last week.

WC finished with a 8-4 record under head coach Josh Morgan and the team will now go into offseason training.
