WC freshman baseball team got a couple of wins this week

The Warren Central High School freshmen baseball team picked up a couple of wins this week.

The Vikings defeated Brandon 7-6 on Wednesday, where Caden Cole and Ryan Steed both went 2 for 2 at the plate.

Justin Greer, Nathaniel Moore and Tristan Jamison all had a hit. Moore and Steed both had two RBIs while Jamison and Beau Bradley had one. Moore also got his first home run in the win.

WC grabbed a 4-0 win over Rosa Scott on Thursday. Trace Hood, Blake Caruthers, Greer, and Moore all had hits. Caruthers had two RBIs, and Jamison struck out eight in the win while only allowing one hit.

Good and Greer also had hits in a 2-4 loss to Brandon, and Peyton Hoben had a hit in a loss to Rosa Scott.

The Vikings are set to host Clinton on Monday.
