McDaniel leaving VHS for Ridgeland High School head coach position

Vicksburg High School football coach Todd McDaniel has stepped down as head coach and will become the new head coach and athletics director at Ridgeland High School.

Over the last three years, McDaniel has led VHS to the playoffs each season and most recently led them to a 10-3 season and a third round playoff appearance.

McDaniel was VDN’s Coach of the Year in 2021 and 2022.

VHS has not announced who will be their next head coach.
