WC junior varsity volleyball team picked up two wins over the weekend

Warren Central High junior varsity volleyball team won two matches against Franklin County and Riverside in a tri-match over the weekend.

Game one:

WC won in two set against Franklin County (25-8,25-10). Arrionna Jenkins (9 kills) and Madison Pant (7 kills) led the team in an offensive led win. Five other players had at least two kills and Kylie Hearn had 20 assists.

Game two:

The Lady Vikes took down Riverside in two sets in the second game. Set one was a close set (25-20) that came down to two key blocks by Madison Pant, three kills by Kennedi Zellous and two kills by Ka’ryn Henderson.

Set two (25-4) was highlighted by 16 straight serves by Kylie Hearn which included six aces. The Vikings had 10 aces in the set along with Pant tallying three kills and Jenkins had  two kills.
