WCJHS crushed Terry 36-0 on Tuesday

Warren Central Junior High School football team shutout Terry 36-0 on Tuesday.

The Vikings got on the board first from a 30-yard touchdown pass from Nash Morgan to Blake Caruthers on fourth down. Caden Cole scored the two-point conversion.

Vernon Sampson got the next touchdown from a pick 6 and a two-point conversion from Caruthers.

KeAnthony Wynn’s punt return was called back for a penalty but he bounced back with a 60-yard touchdown run. Caruthers then caught a 40-yard touchdown from Morgan.

Shortly before the half, Tristan Jamison forced a fumble then Carleone Woodland picked it up and took it for a 80-yard score.

Defensively, Jamison forced two fumbles while Duke Wright, Woodland, and Fabien Davenport racked up multiple tackles. Karson Moore also caught a interception.

WCJHS will host Germantown on Tuesday.
