WCJHS advances to the semifinals after defeating Northwest Rankin

Warren Central Junior High School volleyball team advanced to the semifinals of the Little Six Tournament after defeating Northwest Rankin on Tuesday.

The game went into three sets with the Lady Vikes taking set one with a 25-23 score. The Lady Cougars got the second set with a 26-24 score and WC finished things in set three with a 15-11 performance.

Both teams hustled all night but WC came out on top by not giving up after trailing a few times throughout the night.

WCJHS will travel to play Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
