YMCA Junior Prep girls basketball turnout

The Junior Prep girls played three games at the YMCA on Monday night where some squads remain undefeated.

Game 1:

The Flashes came out on top in a 9-6 win over the Bobcats where Reese Lyons scored six points for the winning team. Madelyn Tate and Lynlee McMillin both scored a free throw in the victory.

Layla Walker led the Bobcats with four points.

Game 2:

The Bulldogs took on the Grizzly’s and came out with an 18-8 win.

Lauren Brown led the Bulldogs with nine points and Kadyn Richards came in clutch with seven on the board.

Malayna Smith led the Grizzly’s with six points.

Game 3:

In the final game, the Bears defeated the Boltz 39-19. Laney Bennett and Addyson Hardaway both scored 11 points each.

Evie Gattle scored 12 points for the Boltz and teammate Cataleya Johnson added three points. Olivia Lee added seven points for the Bears and Braelynn Warren scored six.

Kaycie Coleman ended the night with three points and Mary Bradley hit a free throw.
