Vicksburg fireworks will proceed as scheduled

City officials advised the Vicksburg Daily News that the fireworks show is still expected to proceed as scheduled Saturday. At this time, it appears the weather will not affect tonight’s festivities.

Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the show from their vehicles and to follow social distancing guidelines as they celebrate.

Live music will begin at 8 p.m. this evening with the fireworks extravaganza beginning at 9 p.m.
