Vicksburg native Ben Brown has become a finalist for the 2021 William V. Campbell Trophy, the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. The award recognizes athletes for their academic, football and leadership success.

Brown is currently starting on the offensive line for Ole Miss where they are averaging 52.7 points per game due in part to his blocking ability. He currently holds a 3.64 GPA and has a chance of winning an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship.

The 63rd NFF Annual Awards Dinner is on Dec. 7, but Brown will have to make it through the semifinals listing which will be announced on Oct. 27.
