A single-car MVC occurred on North Washington Street on Sunday just shortly after 6:00 p.m.

The driver appeared to have hit a pole and suffered some serious injuries but they do not appear to be life-threatening, and the individual will be ground-transported to UMMC.

The Vicksburg Fire Department and the Vicksburg Police Department are all on the scene at this time, so drivers should proceed with caution in the area.
