Vehicle hit tree on Highway 61 North

A vehicle went down a hill and struck a tree on Highway 61 North about six miles past Redwood Elementary School.

The wreck happened shortly after 11 a.m. The diver was entrapped and suffered from unknown injuries.

Units from the Warren County Fire Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene, along with Mississippi Highway Patrol and Warren County Emergency Management.

MHP is controlling traffic at this time.
