Nettle wins essay competition at the MLK program

Caiya Nettle won a essay contest and was recognized at the Martin Luther King Ceremony on Monday.

Nettle did her essay on voting rights and was presented with a certificate at the Catfish Row Museum and at the city auditorium. The competition was for 7th-12th graders.

Nettle is a eighth grader it the Academy of Innovation.
