Two St. Aloysius softball players stood out at the plate in last week’s victory against Jackson Academy.

Lydia Nettles and Victoria Morehead each had an outstanding performance that left the Lady Flashes with a win.

Morehead led the team with three RBIs as she went 2 for 3 at the plate. She also got another three RBIs on Wednesday against Madison-Ridgeland Academy.

First baseman Nettles went 2 for 3 at the plate as well on Thursday with one run score as she helped the Lady Flashes to their first victory in years.

St. Aloysius is under the leadership of Savannah Buck and will play again this weekend at the Tri-County Tournament.
