PCA to delay school opening on Tuesday

Porter’s Chapel Academy has announced it will delay opening its campus in anticipation of severe weather scheduled to hit the area overnight.
After consulting with the National Weather Service and Warren County Emergency Management, Porter’s Chapel Academy will delay the start of school until 10:00 a.m. (k3-12th grade)
The National Weather Service out of Jackson has reported the possibility of dangerous weather including winds up to 80MPH, possible tornadoes, and 2-3 inches of heavy rainfall. Travel conditions may be unsafe in the morning at the normal school start time. We will be watching this weather throughout the evening and early morning; if there is a need to change our schedule we will notify you as soon as possible. Be safe. God Bless.
