Roseland Drive home saved from potentially devastating fire

A Vicksburg home was saved Friday night, thanks to quick-thinking neighbors and a swift response from the Vicksburg Fire Department.

Just before 7:30 p.m., a concerned neighbor called to report smoke coming from a home at 120 Roseland Drive.  Responders arrived and verified that no one was home.

Vicksburg Fire Department was able to quickly get the fire under control.

The home suffered moderate smoke damage as a result.  The cause and origin of the fire are unknown at this time.
