T’Kia Bevily guilty of murder of 14-month-old step daughter

T’Kia Bevily was found guilty of capital murder by a Claiborne County jury on Friday.
Bevily is accused of killing her step-daughter, 14-month-old Jurayah Smith in October 2017. According to police reports, Jurayah had multiple blunt-force injuries to her head. Jurayah was killed while with T’kia and Morris Bevily. Morris Bevily’s trial will begin Feb 1, 2021.
