Tree fire causes traffic to be diverted on Wisconsin Avenue

VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–A tree fire on Wisconsin Avenue at the U.S. Interstate 20 overpass is impacting traffic as of 8:30 p.m.

Firefighters are spreading water into the woods where a tree has caught fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. However, electric issues in the area may indicate it’s electrical in origin.

Traffic is being turned around at this location. Please use an alternate route.
