Two Madison-Ridgeland Academy football players have tested positive for COVID-19.

MRA announced the news Monday after canceling a scrimmage due to COVID-19 concerns. Because two of its players have tested positive, another 19 players who were in close contact with them have been placed in quarantine.

The school still expects to play its first game against Trinity Christian scheduled for Aug. 21.
