Vicksburg Junior High boys basketball team 10-1 after Clinton victory

Vicksburg Junior High School boys basketball team came out with a 45-42 win over Clinton Monday.

Decorey Knight Jr. led the Gators in the victory with 18 points and multiple defensive stops.

Although the Gators didn’t blowout the Arrows, many of their players had an impressive performance. Michael Johnson managed to put in great work for VJHS, finishing with 14 points, while teammate Mincer Minor IV dropped 11.

The Gators now have a 10-1 record under Coach Jerdon Hardiman. They will be back in action Jan. 7, 2021, against Madison Central.
