Vicksburg Warren School District reports three new COVID-19 cases and 65 quarantined

For the week of Sept. 29 through Oct. 2, 2020, the Vicksburg Warren School District reports three new cases of COVID-19 and 65 newly quarantined due to possible exposure.

The following schools were affected:

River City Early College

• 1 new positive confirmed case – student
• 25 students quarantined

Redwood Elementary

• 1 new positive case – teacher/staff
• 4 quarantined – students

South Park Elementary

• 1 new positive confirmed case – teacher/staff
• 3 quarantined – teacher/staff
• 27 quarantined – students

Vicksburg High School

• 0 new cases
• 3 quarantined – teacher/staff
• 2 quarantined – students

Vicksburg Junior High School

• 0 new cases
• 1 quarantined – student
